High up on the Loschwitz Elbhang and adjacent to the cable car station, the Luisenhof has long been a popular destination for day trippers, so the Dresdeners were all the more disappointed when the restaurant closed two years ago. But at least the immediate future of Inges Weinterrassen, the snack bar next to the panoramic terrace, has been assured. It is currently run by a young Frenchman and a New Zealander. To accompany the local wines, they serve muffins, tartes and hot dishes prepared in the small kitchen. The season is set to last until late September.
